Mark began his business career working for his family’s hotels in Portsmouth, NH. He held various positions in their hotels including General Manager of an independent hotel and a Holiday Inn. He has managed and owned several hotels, including independents, a Days Inn, and a Four Points by Sheraton and several boutique hotels.

 

Mark most recently owned Port Hospitality Group, which owned three Ascend Collection boutique hotels in New Hampshire and Maine. He sold the hotels in 2019. 

Mark served on the franchise advisory board of Choice Hotel’s Ascend Collection brand. He also served as chairman of the Marketing Board of Directors for Four Points by Sheraton and was appointed to the Brand Task Force where he participated in defining the brand positioning, brand standards, and strategic plan for Four Points by Sheraton.  He also served on the Board of the Southern NH Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Seacoast Council on Tourism.

At Delta Capital Group, Mark is primarily involving in debt restructure for commercial real estate, placing equity for companies looking for growth capital, and placing debt financing.  He is also serving in an advisory capacity and is a financing consultant to Revolution Energy, LLC.

Mark has a BA in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has three grown children and lives in Newfields, NH where he has served on his school board, Conservation Easement Committee, and Planning Board. His hobbies include skiing, tennis and biking.
